1. The App

Hudur is a Du'a and Muraqaba companion for Muslims. It provides AI-facilitated Muhasaba sessions, a curated du'a library, adhkar, Quranic reflection tools, and Riwaya audio stories.

Hudur runs on iOS 17 or later and Android 10 or later. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

2. Your Account

You may create one account per person.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Hudur.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Free & Hudur+

Hudur is freemium. The Free tier covers daily Muraqaba sessions, a curated set of du'as, morning & evening adhkar, heart-state check-in, and basic session history.

Hudur+ is a paid subscription that unlocks the full du'a library, unlimited session history, extended Muraqaba sessions, Tafakkur, Jumu'ah Mode, Riwaya audio stories, and personalized "Du'a for Me." Hudur+ is sold as monthly or yearly subscriptions, with a free trial on the yearly tier. Current pricing and trial details are shown at the moment of purchase inside the app and may vary by region.

Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. You can cancel anytime from your device's subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4. Content & Islamic Material

All Quran verses, hadith, and du'as in the app are curated from authentic Islamic sources and stored in our verified content database.
Each piece of content includes source attribution (book, chapter, hadith number where applicable).
Hudur is not a substitute for Islamic scholars, qualified teachers, or personal study.
Islamic texts (Quran, hadith) are public domain. Our curation, presentation, and translations are copyrighted.

5. AI Limitations

The AI is not an Islamic scholar, therapist, imam, or mufti.
The AI does not issue fatwas or religious rulings.
The AI does not generate Quran, hadith, or du'a texts — those come from our curated database only.
Sessions are limited to 5 exchanges per session and 3 sessions per day.
The AI facilitates Muhasaba — personal self-accounting and reflection, not instruction.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Hudur for personal spiritual practice only. You may not:

Use the app for any commercial purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code
Abuse, harass, or submit harmful content through AI sessions
Attempt to bypass session limits or subscription restrictions
Use automated tools or bots to interact with the app
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

7. Intellectual Property

The Hudur app, design, and curation are copyrighted.
Islamic source texts (Quran, hadith) are in the public domain.
Your reflections, notes, and personal content belong to you.
Using the app does not grant you any ownership rights to our intellectual property.

8. Disclaimers

Hudur is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
The app is not medical, psychological, or professional religious advice.
We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-facilitated reflections.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated in the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
